Finding the right care for an elderly loved one can be an uncertain and daunting process, particularly when you may be personally caring for them without much support or when they need immediate help which you cannot provide.
Place Farm House, situated in the tranquil settings of Patcham aims to make your loved one's move the right one by providing a homely and caring environment where they can flourish even more than they would if they stayed in their own home. We achieve this by taking a person centred approach to each resident with our staff knowing in detail their needs and personalities to ultimately assist them in leading their lives as they wish.
Residents enjoy luxurious and modern surroundings in our newly renovated home. The home has a spacious and tranquil environment inside & out for the elderly to relax and enjoy.
Place Farm House pride itself on providing the very best care and service to our residents. The home care for the residents like we would want our own family members to be treated.
Place Farm House has activities Monday – Saturday led by our activity co-ordinators. We also have outings via minibus which include trips into the country, coffee shops and garden centres.
The owners Liz & Andy Bown are on hand to guide the home to provide a fulfilling and tranquil setting where the elderly can enjoy their lives, in a person centred way.
The majority of the residents at Place Farm House are permanent residents and this creates an extended family atmosphere and a community of older people who thrive and enjoy their time together compared to living at home on their own.
Respite care provides all of the benefits Place Farm House can offer for a short-term stay whether it is for convalesce or a taste of residential care for the first time. Often our respite residents love it so much they stay permanently!
Day Care offers your loved one the enjoyment of something different to their normal daily routine living at home. Delicious meals, activities and the beautiful surroundings of the home can be enjoyed in the company of other residents.
